Molly Bang（莫莉·邦）1943年出生于纽泽西，是美国有名的插画家。Molly Bang刚开始多是帮其他的儿童文学家画插画，一直到后来有人建议她可以自己创作，她才开始自己的创作生涯。莫莉·邦开始创作图画书时，题材主要选择的是民间故事作插图，后来逐渐转为她自己的故事。她创作了许多图画书，其中《十，九，八》获得1984年凯迪克银奖，《灰袍奶奶和草莓盗贼》获得1981年凯迪克银奖，《当索菲生气的时候——非常、非常生气的时候》获得2000年的凯迪克银奖。Molly Bang is an American illustrator. For her illustration of childrens books she has been a runner-up for the American Caldecott Medal three times and for the British Greenaway Medal once. Announced June 2015, her 1996 picture book Goose is the 2016 Phoenix Picture Book Award winner – that is, named by the Childrens Literature Association the best English-language childrens picture book that did not win a major award when it was published twenty years earlier. She lives in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
