消失的狩猎时代与现代文明
孤独与尊严
自2005年起，独立纪录片导演顾桃深入东北边境，用镜头和文字记录着狩猎时代的记忆和狩猎文明消失后猎民们的生存状态。他用十年的时间拍摄剪辑了《敖鲁古雅…敖鲁古雅…》《雨果的假期》《犴达罕》《乌鲁布铁》《神·翳》五部自成一体的纪录片，无一不蕴藏着难以言说的悲壮和哀婉。
片中的鄂温克人个性鲜活，喝酒作诗，与大自然交谈。顾桃不仅仅是一个记录者，也与他们在同样的命运中。
叢林 Bush Definition 很荣幸在「國人一生——十年纪录影像回望」的策划下邀请顾桃导演来到成都，放映他的纪录片作品“鄂温克三部曲” ——《敖鲁古雅…敖鲁古雅…》《雨果的假期》和《犴达罕》，并现场分享近期的生活、创作与思考。

导演介绍
顾桃 GU Tao
独立纪录片导演 满族
1970年出生于内蒙古呼伦贝尔
1992-1995年就读于内蒙古艺术学院绘画系（油画专业）
2000-2002年在北京中国艺术研究院修习摄影，现工作生活在北京宋庄。
从2005年开始纪录片创作，以“关注北方少数民族在当下社会的生存状况,精神状态”为主题，拍摄了《敖鲁古雅…敖鲁古雅…》、《神·翳》、《雨果的假期》、《犴达罕》等民族题材的纪录片。

Gu Tao was born in 1970 in Inner Mongolia, China, at the base of the Great Xingan Mountains. When he was a child, his father was an ethnographer and photographer, and focused his time and energy documenting the nomadic tribes in the mountains near their home.
After graduating from the Inner Mongolia School of Art with a major in oil painting, Gu Tao moved to Beijing and started living and working as an artist and conceptual photographer (doing commercial photography to pay the bills). In 2005 he began following in his father’s footsteps, traveling back to the mountains of his hometown to make a documentary about its original residents, the Ewenki people.
Gu Tao’s focus, however, was different from his father’s, as he saw a way of life that had been severely limited by governmental intrusion and environmental destruction, since the 1970’s when his father was doing his filming. He has chosen to focus his films on dying traditions and ways of life, and how marginalized groups are adapting to the modern world.
As Gu Tao has found his niche as a documentary director, he has expanded his focus to include the various tribes and ethnic groups in Northern China and Mongolia.

犴达罕是大兴安岭森林里体态最大的动物，威武，敏感，拥有尊严。近年生态的破坏，偷猎者的增多，犴达罕也更稀少。
而这不是一部关于犴的片子。
具有犴一样孤独气质的鄂温克猎人维加在禁猎后失落悲伤，经常酒后用诗和画怀念逝去的狩猎时代。春天来了，维加和伙伴进入原始森林，寻找犴达罕的足迹。
城市里教书的夏老师爱慕维加的才华，维加的生活发生了变化……

The moose is the largest animal of the Greater Xing’an mountains. Mighty, sensitive, and majestic, he has been hunted and his home has been destroyed, and now it is rare that people can catch a glimpse of him in the great forests of northeastern China.
But this is not a film about an animal…
Ewenki hunter Weijia's life has followed the trajectory of the moose, with his lands taken away, his hunting guns confiscated, and his way of life falling into extinction; he spends his days drinking and painting his memories of a better time. In the spring, Weijia and Maoxie go into the forest in search of moose. Then one day, Weijia's life undergoes a big change...

影片简介 Synopsis
中国北部的大兴安岭，有一支颇为传奇的民族——使鹿鄂温克。300年前，他们来自更北方的西伯利亚。他们世代以打猎和饲养驯鹿为生，拥有自己传统的生活方式。
他们喜欢喝酒，酒后也会闹事，他们喜欢驯鹿，因为驯鹿是他们的生活。他们用最原始的生活方式，演绎一个民族的传统，也哭诉着敖鲁古雅文化消逝的悲哀。
2003年，他们走出大山，搬进政府所建的定居点，禁猎也随之来临。失去森林和猎枪的鄂温克人深感寂寞，部分族人回到山上，重新开始传统的生活。时光悄悄流逝，鹿铃声也渐渐远去……那片曾经熟悉的森林还会属于他们吗？

In the Greater Xing’an mountains of northern China, there is a group of people who share their life with the reindeer. These Ewenki people came from Siberia over 300 years ago. They have been living in the dense primeval forest and surviving on hunting and raising reindeers in their own traditional way.
In 2003, the Reindeer Ewenkis came out of the forest and moved down to the new settlement built by the government. Now with hunting also banned, the Reindeer Ewenkis find themselves in a dilemma.
The reindeer could not survive the “city life” either. So, a small number of the tribe moved back into the mountains again, back into their forest.
Liushia, a woman whose husband has passed away, numbs herself with alcohol. Besides the reindeer and her son, who is far away, there is nothing left for her in this world. Her younger brother, Weijia, is an alcoholic artist who is increasingly disorientated by life. He Xie expresses the sadness in his heart through his harmonica.
Time is passing… the sounds of deer bells are fading away… Maria Suo, the last chief of the tribe, watches time pass helplessly.
But does the forest the Ewenkis used to know still belong to them?

影片简介 Synopsis
内蒙的东北部，敖鲁古雅积满大雪的深山老林中，担心全心全意陷入爱情中的母亲柳霞，雨果重新回到了家中，影片舒缓地记录了他们在一起的短暂时光。
雨果的母亲柳霞，在雨果很小的时候失去了丈夫，因为酗酒，无力抚养孩子，在社会的资助下将雨果送到了无锡免费接受教育。柳霞终日苦闷，驯鹿和酒成了她思念孩子的寄托。
在一个冬天的假期，雨果回到了家乡——大兴安岭深处的鄂温克定居点。此时他已不再是当初离家的那个孩子，而是一个13岁的少年了，面对酗酒的妈妈，诗意的舅舅，纯净的族人，熟悉又陌生的森林，在城市里长大的雨果有些不知所措···
