2月21日，来葡道新店东湖路，与我们一起品鉴来自南非西开普省（Western Cape）贝灵瀚酒庄的伯纳德系列和庄主系列葡萄酒，共赏南非经典电影《成事在人》。

South Africa is an ancient country with a long history. There are not only charming and colorful natural scenery, but also with rich cultural landscape. 品鉴会主讲人DGB酒业集团中国区经理麦丽克扎女士，将带领大家共同走近贝灵瀚酒庄及庄主Bernard Podlashuks精彩的创业故事以及与夫人Freda动人的爱情故事。

The keynote speaker of this wine tasting event will lead by Ms. Mailikie Aibibul, the Regional Manager of DGB in China. She will share with everyone on Bellingham Wines and lead you to the inspiring story about how the founder Bernard Podlashuks started and the love story with his wife, Freda.

贝灵瀚酒庄（Bellingham）的故事开始于1693年，法国的胡格诺教派的移民来到了南非并买下了山脚下这片美丽的庄园，并种下了首批1000支葡萄藤，开启了这个古老酒庄的酿酒史。1943年，凭借着Bernard Podlashuks独有的创新和先锋精神，也一跃成为了当地非常知名的葡萄酒庄，出产具有鲜明风土特色、现代、富有结构感的葡萄酒。

The story of Bellingham Winery began in 1693. French Huguenot immigrate to South Africa and bought this beautiful manor at the foot of the mountain and planted the first batch of 1,000 vines. In 1943 with the uniqueness, innovative and pioneering spirit of Bernard Podlashuks he also became a well-known winery in the local area with producing distinctive terroir, modern and rich sense of structure of wines

1951年，Bernard Podlashuks开创性地酿造了一款属于开普敦的桃红葡萄酒；1957年，他采用冷浸渍方法，推出了南非口感清爽、果香浓郁的干白葡萄酒；同样在1957年，他又成为首位在开普敦酿造单一品种西拉的酿酒师，被誉为“南非西拉葡萄酒之父”。

In 1951, Bernard Podlashuks pioneered a rosé wine belonging to Cape Town. In 1957, he used the cold maceration method to launch a South African dry white wine with a refreshing taste and rich fruit aroma. Bernard became the first winemaker to produce a single variety of Shiraz in Cape Town and known as the "Father of South African Shiraz".

Movie: Invictus

《成事在人（Invictus）》是一部2009年南非传记运动电影，由克林特·伊斯特伍德执导，主演有摩根·弗里曼和马特·达蒙。

Invictus is a 2009 South African biographical sports film directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon.

故事根据约翰·卡林的著作《与敌人战斗：纳尔逊·曼德拉和一场改变国家的比赛》（Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Made a Nation）改编而成，讲述南非举行1995年世界杯橄榄球赛期间，当时的总统纳尔逊·曼德拉如何与国家橄榄球队队长法兰索瓦·皮纳尔同心协力，联手凝聚国人向心力，让刚摆脱种族隔离制度不久而面临分裂的南非能够团结一致。

Its story is based on John Carlin's book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Made a Nation. It is about how during the 1995 Rugby World Cup then president Nelson Mandela collaborated with Francois Pienaar, leader of the national rugby team and aroused the cohesion in people to unite the whole nation, which was on the brink of division after the abolition of segregation.

1994年南非大选，曼德拉成为南非历史上第一位黑人总统。曼德拉掌权以后，南非种族隔离政策终于被废止，曼德拉本人也成为了世界著名的平权斗士，赋予南非“彩虹之国”之美誉。南非国旗呈长方形，由红、绿、蓝、白、黑、黄六种颜色组成，呈Y形，象征种族和解、民族团结。

At the South African general election in 1994, Mandela became the first-ever black president in the history of South Africa. For abolition of the racial segregation in South Africa after he took power, Mandela became the world-famous equality fighter and won for South Africa the reputation as the “rainbow nation.” The national flag of South Africa is rectangular, has red, green, blue, white, black, and yellow and a Y shape and symbolizes racial reconciliation and national unity.

谋事在人，成事在天。本片名对调了八字箴言的前后宾语，坚信人的主观能动性在决定事件成败的作用和力量，唯物而不唯心。即，成事在人。

Man proposes, God disposes. The Chinese translation of the film’s name swaps the subjects of the two parts of the maxim to assert the role and power of mankind’s subjective initiative in deciding the results of an event, suggesting the victory of materialism over idealism. Hence the Chinese translation “Man Disposes.”

最后，引用一句电影中台词，支撑起曼德拉在长达27年的牢狱生涯中的信仰：

In the end is the line in the film expressing the faith bracing up Mandela in his 27 years’ life in prison:
