勃艮第由夏布利、夜丘、伯恩丘、沙隆丘和马贡内五部分组成。而以黑皮诺名满天下的夜丘，和以饱满霞多丽闻名遐迩的伯恩丘（当然红葡萄酒仍是伯恩丘不可忽视的强项），组成了勃艮第的核心产区——金丘(Côte d'Or)。金丘的地形狭长，从北至南50多公里。每年十月来到金丘，满眼尽是金色的山坡绵延起伏，黄色、金色和暗金色遍布，抒写着金丘十月的美。

People are multi-faceted. So are wines. You can always count on Burgundies for elegant, reserved and pure expressions of the terroirs.

Burgundy is composed of Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais. Côte de Nuits, which is renowned for red wines made from Pinot Noir, and Côte de Beaune, which is renowned for white wines made from Chardonnay (and of course, red wines, too) constitute the core wine area of Burgundy - Côte d'Or (literally “Gold Slope”). It covers a narrow strip of territory about 50 km long from north to south. Côte d'Or presents the most enchanting scenery in October, when the undulating hills are colored yellow, gold and dark gold.

“Gold” not only indicates the color of the area but also its commercial value. Top-notch vineyards in Côte d'Or can be priced at EUR 100,000, 300,000 and even 30 million per hectare. Owners of those lands are owners of gold.

Last August, Pudao threw a Burgundy Tasting Party and looked into the impact of different wineries on the styles of wines from the perspective of “people.” At the first tasting party in 2022, Pudao wishes to celebrate the beginning of the new year with 18 premium wines from prestigious estates in 14 wine areas.
