Kong Xiangzhi
Distinguished Professor of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development at Renmin University of China, president of the Institute of Chinese Cooperatives, and chief editor of The Chinese Cooperative Economic Review.
As a famous expert in the areas of China’s agricultural policies, rural cooperative economy and forestry economy, Professor Kong writes extensively and has published more than 400 academic papers and more than 50 books (including co-authorship). Due to the excellent jobs he has done in teaching and research, he has won a lot of prizes, including Distinguished Teacher Awards in Beijing, Outstanding Achievement Prize on Scientific Research in Higher Education in Humanities and Social Sciences, and so on.

In the elements of rural modernization, the most important one is rural social security systems, including medical security system, endowment insurance system and minimum living security system.


How to protect the management right formed after land circulation is the core of institutional innovation.


As we can see, to promote the rural financial reform and strengthen the financial support for new type agriculture management entities, the government should not only promote confirmation and certification, but also improve the asset disposal market, and establish a risk prevention mechanism.


In the face of the system and mechanism obstacles restricting the development of new type agriculture management entities, it is suggested to establish an idea of systematic reform and improve the policy support system for new type agriculture management entities.
