高世香槟由艾镇官员Pierre Gosset 先生于1584 年创建，他是一名葡萄种植者和酿酒师，主要生产静止红葡萄酒。为了满足市场需求，Gosset 从18 世纪开始生产起泡葡萄酒。1993 年，高世家族将高世香槟卖给另外一个家族Renaud-Cointreau，该家族至今仍拥有这一品牌。高世香槟的葡萄选自优质葡萄园。Odilon de Varine 是酒窖主管兼总经理，已经在此工作12 年。由于避免了苹果酸乳酸发酵，高世的香槟清脆优雅。

Gosset Champagne was established in 1584 by Pierre Gosset, an alderman of Aÿ, who was also a winemaker and grape grower of still wines, mostly red. Gosset started making sparkling wines in the 18th century to match market demand. In 1993, the Gosset family sold Gosset Champagne to another family, Renaud-Cointreau, who still owns this brand today.

The grapes for Gosset Champagne are mostly sourced from premier and grand cru vineyard sites. Odilon de Varine is the chef de cave and managing director, having been with Gosset for 12 years. The Champagnes of Gosset are crisp and elegant because malolactic fermentation is prevented.
