Characteristics:The Riesling Auslese from the location Erdener Prelate by Dr. Loosen with the gold capsule presents itself in a dense golden yellow. The bouquet resembles an exotic journey with hints of mango and papaya. In addition, the nose discovers honey melon, orange zest, a hint of saffron and also some candied ginger. On the palate, the wine unfolds its lavish splendor. The selection fills the entire mouth with its lush, intense and sweet nature. A perfect play of sweetness and acidity, pleasant fullness and herbal freshness ensure maximum enjoyment. The length leaves nothing to be desired. The reverberation crowns the overall performance. A perfect soloist for festive occasions is this selection and excellently accompanies desserts of all kinds and creamy blue cheese.

The Erden Prelate is undoubtedly the best vineyard of the winery Dr. Loosen on the Moselle. The layer name comes very close to the heavenly in this "liquid gold". With its exceptionally warm microclimate, its perfect exposure to the south and the red slate soil, the location produces Rieslings full of strength, complexity and nobility. It is protected between the river and the rock massif. Every year it enables the production of high-quality large plants, selection and botrytis selections.
