谈到西拉Syrah，罗纳河谷Rhône Valley就是避不开的一个产区，而北罗纳河谷Northern Rhône Valley无疑是世界上最优秀西拉的产出地。比如：罗第丘Côte-Rôtie、科纳斯Cornas、埃米塔日Hermitage。

罗第丘的条形葡萄园，坐落在阿布斯Ampuis周围那些险峻的梯田上，围绕在罗纳河谷西岸的花岗岩山体上。它通常有着迷人的柔软感、果味十足的细腻感和南部葡萄酒的温暖感，更接近伟大的勃艮第。因为有精细的香气支持着坚实的单宁，和埃米塔日的强健感形成鲜明对比。

科纳斯同样位于罗纳河谷西岸，亦采用种植在花岗岩土壤中的西拉葡萄酿造，一样具有权威性和影响力，却少了一些细致。

When speaking of Syrah, the Rhône Valley becomes an inescapable terroir, and within it, the Northern Rhône Valley undoubtedly stands out as the preeminent source of the world's most exceptional Syrah, such as Côte-Rôtie, Cornas and Hermitage.

Nestled amidst the rugged terraces encircling Ampuis, the vineyards of Côte-Rôtie elegantly adorn the granite slopes of the Rhône Valley's western bank. It displays an alluringly supple character, brimming with luscious fruit flavors and a warmth reminiscent of that found in Southern wines like the grandeur of Burgundy. Enhanced by a refined fragrance and solid tannins, it stands in stark contrast to the boldness of Hermitage.

Located along the western banks of the Rhône Valley, Cornas likewise employs the cultivation of Syrah in granite soils, producing wines of authoritative impact, albeit with a slightly restrained intricacy.

当然，维欧尼Viognier、玛珊Marsanne、胡珊Roussanne这三个白葡萄品种同样也是北罗纳葡萄酒的重要组成部分，它们即可酿造酒体丰满，果香浓郁的白，如：孔德里约Condrieu，圣佩雷Saint-Péray等。

圣约瑟夫Saint-Joseph位于科纳斯北边，由于很久以前的扩张，如今已经从圣佩雷延伸到孔德里约北面接近60km的区域。

面积更小的孔德里约与罗第丘的南部相交融，在这里片岩和母云石被破碎的、沙质的花岗岩所取代。曾几何时，孔德里约被认为是品质平平的甜白酒。如今的孔德里约巧妙地将酒精的力度与令人难以忘怀却又脆弱的香气融合在一起，它也是少有的需要在年轻时就可享用的高价白葡萄酒之一。

冷知识，可在西拉酿造中的红葡萄酒中加入这些白葡萄品种少许做混酿。

Viognier, Marsanne, and Roussanne are three essential white grape varieties of Northern Rhône, giving rise to opulent and intensely fragrant whites, such as Condrieu and Saint-Péray.

Extending northwards from Cornas, Saint-Joseph now encompasses an expansive area of approximately 60km, from the outskirts of Saint-Péray to the northern edges of Condrieu.

Condrieu, with its smaller size, intersects with the southern part of Côte-Rôtie, where the schist and gneiss are replaced by fragmented, sandy granite. Previously underestimated as a mediocre sweet white wine, Condrieu has ingeniously intertwined the intensity of alcohol with hauntingly delicate fragrances, positioning itself as one of the scarce premium white wines that can be relished at a young age.

Interesting fact: A touch of these white grape varieties can be added to Syrah for blending purposes.
