自1892年开始，为了更好的规范香槟的生产标准，保护“香槟”这块金子招牌，法国最高法院规定“只有在香槟地区种植，使用传统香槟法酿造的气泡酒才可以命名为香槟”。1908年，处在当时产区规划之外的阿伊镇（Aÿ）、埃佩尔奈镇（Epernay）和大梅丽镇（Damery）农民对马恩省进行了严重破坏，以至于政府不得不排除军队来维持秩序，为了解决香槟地区的规划问题，出台新规重新规划了产区范围才得以平息。

In 1892, to standardize the production of Champagne and protect the prestige of the Champagne wine region, the French Supreme Court stipulated that a bottle of sparkling wine to be labeled Champagne has to be made in Champagne, France and produced using the traditional method. In 1908, farmers in Aÿ, Epernay and Damery, which were outside of the appellation at the time, wreaked havoc on the Marne. As a consequence, the government assigned the army to maintain order and enacted new rules and redefined the scope of the wine region to quell the disturbance.

Since 1600s, Champagne has been leading the wayin fashion and playing an important role in ceremonies, banquets and bars. Meanwhile,luxury brands have vied to acquire Champagne houses and mega stars haveactively endorsed Champagne brands. At the Spring Champagne Tasting Party, youwill be able to compare the different styles of 17 Champagnes and perhaps comeacross your favorites.
