This Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru hails from sun-drenched limestone slopes in the Mâconnais, recently classified as Premier Cru. These parcels benefit from an excellent southeast exposure and clay-limestone soils that promote the ripening of Chardonnay. The Mâconnais’ temperate climate enables vivid fruity and mineral expressions. Vines are cultivated using reasoned methods, with special attention to soil management and biodiversity. Yields are controlled to enhance grape concentration.

Winemaking & Aging
Grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, predominantly old ones, to preserve fruit freshness. Aging lasts approximately 12 months on fine lees with moderate bâtonnage (stirring). This method enhances the wine’s texture without masking its mineral expression. No fining agents are used, and bottling involves light filtration to preserve the wine’s authenticity.
