本书为全英文教材,为国际班学生和留学生编写。目前市面上未见同类书,有少数几本是根据个别学校自有的实验仪器编写的,其他学校不适合直接拿来用。本教材主要选择的各校共有的实验仪器,通用性和普适性更强。实验后附思考题,可直接在书上进行答题,确保一书一用。另外,大部分在校留学生的物理基础不是太理想,所以本教材的讲解偏基础,对留学生比较友好。
