Pagani Ranch Vineyard is located in Sonoma Valley, Sonoma County. Elevation: 100 - 150’ Soils: Gravelly clay loam Vines: Zinfandel, interplanted with minor amounts of petite sirah, carignane and alicante, thirty acres planted from 1896 to 1922. Six acres replanted to zinfandel and petite sirah in 2013.

Characteristics:
Given the cool microclimate of SonomaValley, Pagani Ranch often sits under foginto the early afternoon.  Harvested be. tween October Tth and 16th, the youngzinfandel was ready first, followed by theold vine zinfandel, petite sirah and alicantebouschet.  Typical of the appellation, brightacidity and plentiful fruit are benchmarksof this exuberant wine.  This excellentzinfandel will be best over the next eightyears.  SR (12/22)
