From villages located in the northern and southern parts of the Côte de Nuits. The grapes mainly come from vineyards located around the villages of Brochon (the village adjacent to Gevrey-Chambertin) and Corgoloin-Comblanchien (next to Nuits-Saint-Georges).

Characteristics: This Cote de Nuits wine has a pleasant fruity aroma and is atypical Pinot Noir wine, accompanied by a slight smoky taste. The taste has a distinct structure, soft tannins, red currants and raspberry berries mixed with a hint of licorice.

Food/wine pairing This Côte de Nuits-Villages can accompany meat cooked in sauce - especially red wine sauce - as well as game and mild to medium cheeses.
