The Dutch province of Flevoland holds a unique collection of land art, with nine iconic works by Marinus Boezem, Robert Morris, and others. Initially occupying an empty polder, the works have since become part of a dynamic transformation. Views on art and its social significance have also changed over time, raising questions about land art decay and preservation, as well as the collection as a whole. Here, a younger generation of artists were asked to use performances to connect with the works’ original meanings.
