刘永志，博士，教授，成都理工大学外国语学院副院长，硕士研究生导师。2009—2010年在英国剑桥大学英语及应用语言学研究中心访学进修。研究方向为英国文学与文化、认知语言学、文学翻译、外语教学等。现从事英语硕士生、英语本科专业的教学工作，主讲课程《语篇学》、《非文学翻译》、《高级英语》等。现主持国家社科基金一般项目1项（英国文学在中国的传播和影响）、主持完成四川省社科项目1项（二十世纪上半叶英美文学在中国的传播研究），主持成都理工大学优秀科研创新团队建设项目1项（英美文学在中国的传播研究）；发表学术论文30多篇，出版学术专著和译著3部，主编高校教材2部，参编高校教材、词典、语言文化研究著作共5部；完成各类翻译项目20多项共计100多万字。1999年获四川省教育厅第二届人文社会科学科研成果三等奖，2010年获省人民政府教学成果三等奖（排名第5）。
