Pente Grammai is an ancient Greek game played on a grid of five parallel lines. Athenians wrote that Ajax and Achilles played the game during the siege of Troy. For that reason, it is sometimes called “The Game of Heroes”. Often associated with Apollo’s sanctuary at Delphi, it is a game of strategy and chance.

Pente Grammai involves moving pieces around five parallel lines. Players take turns moving pieces to control positions or capture others, blending strategy and chance.
