Their family name and the winery's name have special implications. Soldati means soldier in Italian, and La Scolca comes from the dialect name "Sfurca", which means "looking far away". Wines produced here are endowed with an “aristocratic personality” - mineral and intense, durable and elegant. The best grapes are obtained in Rovereto district where La Scolca's vineyards are located. 得益于拉斯柯卡酒庄 在 100 多年前开始生产加维葡萄酒,加维产区于 1974 年获得DOC(Denominazione di Origine Controllata, 原产地命名控制标签),随后于 1998 年获得 DOCG(Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita, 原产地命名控制及品质保证标签)。La Scolca拥有如此成就,除了葡萄园绝佳的地理位置,也是其优秀酿酒水平的证明。Thanks to La Scolca who began their production of Gavi more than 100 years ago, Gavi obtained DOC in 1974 and later DOCG (Denomination of Origin Controlled and Guaranteed) in 1998. They have argilo-calcerous and volcanic soils with noticeable iron content, with veins of chalky limestone similar to that found in Champagne and Chablis. Vineyards are not far from the sea, where they receive full sunlight exposure from sunrise to sunset and tempered by warm Mediterranean breeze which brings cool mountain air, freshness and humidity. 并且拉斯柯卡的葡萄园不使用杀虫剂,它们被有鸟类安居的森林所环绕,鸟儿们会以葡萄园中的害虫为食。All of these create an ideal climate for the grapes to reach optimum ripeness. The grapes arrives within no more than 20 minutes to the cellar where they are then registered, discharged and pressed. The technique of cold vinification allows the maximum protection of grapes, keeping 100% of the “precursors of the aromas” from the moment of pressing until the fermentation. 该酒庄的酿酒体系,允许其系统地、逐个地,根据葡萄园单独酿造葡萄酒。采收季时,酒窖的计算机软件会存储有关每批葡萄的数据(果实分析、原产地…),所有这些都是为了保持每颗果实信息的完整性,以创建每瓶葡萄的“历史记录”。Their winemaking system allows La Scolca to respect the origin of grapes, vineyards by vineyards, making wine separately with a computerised control system. During the harvest, cellar's software stores the data (analysis, origin...) regarding each batch of grapes to create an “history” of each bottle. A special processing technique - in France called sur lie – that keeps the yeasts in suspension until bottling.
