与低处葱翠的树林

隔着一轮日光

The rising sun ignited the Fuji mountain ridge with flaming red

With ray of the sun

separating it from the lush forest

薰风趋弱、轻拂山间

然而富嶽顶端的细小雪溪

仍静谧且缓慢地向下延伸

苍穹中随着风向游动的云层

也纷纷盘踞到山顶

似乎都在期待着大地季节的交替…

South wind weakens, gently blowing to the mountains

Yet, the small snow creek flowing from the top

still quietly extends downward

The clouds floating in the sky reach to the top of the mountain

All seem to be looking forward to the turn of the seasons...

凯风一词源自《诗经》，为夏日吹拂的南风

画中橘红色的富士山也有“赤富士”的别称

强烈却互相衬托的用色重现了富士山的壮丽

Created in late Edo period,

"Gaifusaisei" (Clear Day with a Southern Breeze) is one of the series of Katsushika Hokusai's "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji".

The word "gaifu" originates from "Classic of Poetry", which refers south wind blowing in summer.

The orange-red Mount Fuji in the painting also has been given the name "Aka Fuji"

The magnificence of Mt. Fuji is reproduced with the use of strong but complementary colors.
