This is the first comprehensive monograph on French artist Fran?ois Ristori (1936–2015), a lesser-known artist of the French postwar abstraction generation. He was known for employing a systematic motif of blue, red and white hexagon-like shapes he named "Trace-Forme" across painting, drawing and public interventions. Published on the occasion of the artist's solo exhibitions at MAMCO, Geneva, and Centre Pompidou, Paris, in spring 2023, the book includes archives, scholarly commentary on his canvases, a biographical itinerary, and two portfolios on the Geneva and Paris exhibitions.
