This wine is delicate and precise, showing just the right amount of ripe red and black fruit aromas, accompanied by floral, herbal and sweet spice aromas that are confirmed in the mouth. Well-formed and still youthful, it has excellent acidity, fine tannins and a juicy and long-lasting finish with notes of earth, apricot, blackcurrant, graphite and licorice. It's great to drink now, but there's a lot of room for improvement over the next 20 years.
