Characteristics:
This crisp, refreshing Riesling is the dry counterpart to the fruity, off-dry Dr. L Riesling. Together, these two wines represent the entry-level from Loosen Bros., capturing the elegant and racy characteristics of steep, slate-soil Mosel vineyards at a very reasonable price. They are produced with grapes from contracted growers throughout the Mosel River valley who work closely with brothers Ernst and Thomas Loosen to achieve excellent quality and superb concentration in every vintage.

Characteristics:The Sonnenuhr is located in the village of Wien, where the classic Moschel Reserve Riesling wines are elegant and delicate, with lively acidity and charming charm. The exceptionally steep slopes and rocky soil of this vineyard produce many elegant, delicate and highly regarded white wines. The classic blue SLATE soil gives the wine a fine, refreshing acidity balanced with white peach and lemon fruit notes. This wine has a lively taste, as if it dances gracefully on the tongue.
