Dominique Erhard is a French paper engineer and illustrator best known in his native France for a series of children s colouring books focusing on the history and monuments of different regions of France. He was born in 1958. After studying Fine Arts at the University of Strasbourg, he spent a few years painting in Morocco. Back in France, he participated in the activities of the CLAC group in Nancy and designed several scenographies for the Ensemble Artistique d Alsace. In 1986, he moved to Orleans where he divided his time between painting, teaching, creating games. His works are regularly presented in numerous galleries both in France and abroad. He is also the author and paper engineer for two previous pop-up books, London Pop-Up Book and Paris Pop-Up Book published by Universe in 2020.
