小川洋子 Yoko Ogawa

1962年出生于日本冈山市，毕业于早稻田大学第一文学系文艺科。1988年以〈毁灭黄粉蝶的时候〉获得海燕新人文学奖。1991年以〈妊娠月历〉获得第104届芥川奖。主要着作有《不冷的红茶》、《温柔的诉求》、《爱丽斯饭店》、《沈默博物馆》、《安娜?法兰克的记忆》、《贵妇人A的重生》、《偶然的祝福》等。

其笔锋冷敛，早期作品多以描述人性阴暗面和残酷见称；三十岁后，为《安妮的日记》前往德国奥兹维斯集中营采访，感受到「人类可以那么残酷，却同时也那么伟大」后，写作风格也因而转变，「不再尖锐刻划、曝露人类深藏的恶意，而能够以一种『人类是善恶共存体』的态度去看待他人」，并且开始撰写与记忆有关的主题。其作品在欧洲受到极大的回响，有法、德、西、义等诸国译本，其中三部作品在法国改编成电影。

Yoko Ogawa has won every major Japanese literary award. Her fiction has appeared in the New Yorker, A Public Space and Zoetrope. Her works include The Diving Pool, a collection of three novellas, The Housekeeper and the Professor, Hotel Iris and Revenge.
