葡萄园：坐落于北坎特伯雷怀帕拉谷（Waipara Valley），位于排水良好的朝北梯田。得益于地处蒂维奥特代尔山脉（Teviotdale Range）背风处，可最大程度抵御太平洋东风，形成独特微气候。葡萄藤树龄超 30 年，大部分为自根苗，扎根于 “格拉斯内文砾石”（Glasnevin Gravels）土壤 —— 数千年来由山脉冲刷而下的硬砂岩、淤泥与壤土在此沉积。这片贫瘠土壤自然抑制藤势，造就低产却完美成熟的优质葡萄，充分诠释此独特风土的特质。园区昼夜温差显著（怀帕拉谷夜间最冷），延长葡萄成熟期的同时保留天然酸度。

品酒笔记：上市时呈迷人柠檬色调，香气层次丰富：烤桃、青苹果、葡萄柚皮与烤谷物、烟熏培根、燧石、橙花及一丝火柴划过的气息交织。口感极具表现力，酒体丰腴且层次分明，兼具清新与活力。丰腴绵密的口感与融合的橡木风味、活泼酸度完美平衡，激发中 palate 张力，收尾绵长奔放，萦绕坚果余韵。这款饱满复杂的霞多丽，尽显北坎特伯雷经典风土精髓。Vintage: 2020

THE VINEYARD AND THE VINES：The vineyard is located within the Waipara Valley of North Canterbury, on free draining, north facing  terraces. It benefifi ts from being in the lee of the Teviotdale Range, giving maximum protection from  the Pacififi c’s easterly breezes and thus creating a unique mesoclimate. The vines are over 30 years  old, with a large proportion planted on their own roots. They are located on the “Glasnevin Gravels”  where greywacke stones, silt and loam have been washed down from the mountains over the millennia. The soil is of low fertility, resulting in naturally reduced vine vigour. This produces low yields  of optimally ripened, high quality, flfl avourful grapes, which fully express the qualities of this unique  terroir. The vineyard has warm days, but the nights are amongst the coolest in the Waipara Valley,  drawing out the ripening period of the grapes, while still retaining good natural acidity.

Characteristics：On release it has an enchanting lemon hue. A feast of tantalising  aromas greet the nose, roasted peach, green apple and grapefruit  pith interwoven with toasted grains, smoky bacon, flfl int, orange  blossom and a lick of struck match. The palate is powerfully  expressive and generously proportioned, dense and layered yet  fresh and vibrant. An opulent and creamy mouthfeel is perfectly  balanced with integrated oak and a frisky acidity that excites  the mid-palate, creating focus, energy, and drive. The fifi nish is  seamlessly executed, long and explosive with a rewarding nutty  afterglow. A full bodied and complex Chardonnay displaying  classic North Canterbury essence.
