内容提要：

Heilongjiang immigration in the late Qing dynasty and early Republic of China, as one of the large-scale migration waves in Chinese history, exerts far-reaching influence in the historical course of Heilongjiang area. Its cultural traits and effects bear a great difference from that of the inner land of China: to certain degree, it accompanied, even promoted the appearance of China,s dramatic social transformation—from agricultural society to industrializing society, from the feudal autocratic monarchy to democratic republicanism. Afterwards, close-door empire embraced the changing world gradually. Experts from all walks display in new modes the detailed panorama of Heilongjiang area. The research fruits involve the analysis of the vital role played by Heilongjiang in politics, economics, culture and military affairs, etc. Accordingly, the translation of this book which is a milestone of the research in this field, reveals the civilization of Heilongjiang area, and its indispensable role in the process of Chinese civilization transformation as well. It provides the world a good opportunity to better understand Heilongjiang.

作者简介：

李 靖   博士，教授，硕士生导师。黑龙江高等教育学会委员，*导游资格考试黑龙江考区外语口试考官。

现*职于哈尔滨理工大学外国语学院。主持、参与省部级、司局级及校级科研项目24项，其中主持黑龙江省新世纪教改课题1项、黑龙江省艺术科学规划项目3项、黑龙江省研究生教改项目2项、黑龙江省高等教育学会规划课题2项、哈尔滨理工大学教学研究课题1项，参与*人文社科课题等省部级课题8项、黑龙江省高等教育学会规划课题等厅局级项目7项。

已发表教学及学术论文42篇，出版译著及英语*13部，获国家实用新型专利6项。获省级与校级教研奖励及荣誉称号13项。

张春烨  博士，副教授，硕士生导师。现任哈尔滨理工大学外国语学院*支部书记，主管翻译硕士专业学位（MTI）及翻译竞赛等工作。

主持参与省级、厅局级科研项目12项，出版译著1部、专著1部、教材3部，发表论文多篇。

指导*大学生创新创业项目1项、省级大学生创新创业项目2项，挑战杯省级铜奖1项，指导学生获得*、省级竞赛一等奖、二等奖及三等奖多项。
