DK Yingst is a cartoonist and digital artist from southeast Louisiana and has an MFA in sequential art from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She created the New York Times bestselling graphic novel adaptation of Karen's Grandmothers by Ann M. Martin. DK loves cute coming-of-age stories, going for meandering hikes, and playing farming sims to relax. She lives in Alabama with her husband, their dog, Cookie, and their two cats, Koopa and Connie. Ann M. Martin is the creator of The Baby-sitters Club, which has more than 190 million books in print, making it one of the most popular series in the history of publishing.
