Breath is the basis of life. In this class we learn basic breath and focused meditation techniques, aiming to promote relaxation, compassion and patience. This class starts from the basics of meditation and breath-work (pranayama), then eases beginners into meditation through various methods. Gradually we learn how to empty our minds and fill our hearts. Meditation has been shown to help treat illnesses including high blood pressure, depression, and anxiety.
