Les croix noires (0.58 hectares) lies below les rugiens and adjoins les frémiers to the north. The domaine owns more than half of the total area of the locality. The plot is about forty years old and is oriented from east to west.

Characteristics
Les Croix Noires Premier Cru adjoins the domaine’s two other Premier Crus: Les Frémiers and Les Rugiens. The vines, around forty years old, are planted on deep clayey soil with an east-west orientation. This wine is characterized by an elegant structure with distinct tannins and aromas of black cherries, boasting excellent aging potential.
