Characteristics：This is the new vintage of one of the most commercially appealing wines from Bierzo. Pétalos del Bierzo 2020 benefits from an excellent harvest and can boast a 93-point rating from Parker. Sourced from small plots of old vines on hillsides, it is cultivated using biodynamic methods by Álvaro Palacios and Ricardo Pérez. This Mencía, aged for 8 months in oak barrels, honors the traditional agriculture of the Bierzo region while embracing a contemporary style.
