LGI葡萄酒于1999年在法国南部的卡尔卡松市成立,是一家致力于IGP、AOP\AOC葡萄酒和单一葡萄品种葡萄酒的配送、发展和行销的出口公司。目前LGI的葡萄酒已出口到30个国家,年生产2800万瓶葡萄酒,在法国南部葡萄酒出口公司中名列前茅。

THE BRAND
To make this range, our experts use modern technics to recreate the best of traditional French wine. The result, is a perfect combination of the new and old world, offering a typical wine that displays all the qualities and typical aromas of the varietal.
TERROIR
The Pays d’Oc has a long history of winemaking traditions. Originally introduced by the Greeks, it is the oldest wine region in France. The Romans continued to develop the wine trade during their reign over the Mediterranean regions. In the Middle Ages, it was local monks who discovered developed modern techniques still used today.
Malbec originally comes from the South of France, where it still grows today. To craft this original Malbec, our winemakers selected some of the coolest Pays d’Oc vineyards. These highly-adapted terroirs, located on high slopes, are influenced by the Pyrenean mountains and Atlantic Ocean. Growing season in this area is very long, leading to an exceptional aromatic persistence of fruit.
WINEMAKING
The grapes are harvested once they reach the perfect balance of acidity and sugar. After destemming, the maceration lasts about 15 days at a temperature of 26 to 28°C, in small stainless-steel tanks, providing a precise winemaking according to the varietal and the vintage.
Floating skins are regularly pushed down into the fermenting wine. This extraction technique is called“Pigeage”. At the end of the process, the wine is kept on stainless-steel tank for 5 months before bottling
WINEMAKER'S NOTE
Lovely glossy ruby in the glass. On the nose, the wine is displaying dark red fruit characters, red plum and blackberry, with hints of dried leaves. This is a very approachable wine, with a smooth palate and silky tannins. A great structure, with a balanced acidity and an elegant finish.
WINE AND FOOD PAIRING
Enjoy this Malbec at room temperature, with melted blue cheese, pork fried noodles and chili con carne.
