The color is a typical pale yellow with golden reflections. Notes of orange blossom, magnolia and gorse soon give way to citrus aromas of candied and dried fruit. Gentle spice alongside the tertiary notes produced during refinement conclude this astounding olfactory journey. On the palate, the wine develops with ripe fruit notes. Its structure is confirmed by an alcoholic character, perfectly balanced and harmonized by freshness. The finish is long and persistent.

The Frescobaldi family is one of the most historical wine producers in the world, back to 1309 they started wine production in Tuscany. Creativity and the pursuit of excellence were handed down through the centuries to all the generations of the family. Vittorio degli Albizi, a prominent agronomist, was an in law of Frescobaldi family and was the one able to pioneer modern wine production techniques. In 1855, Albizi introduced also international grape varietals to the region for the first time.

The family has 7 Crus, cultivating the best of Tuscany diversity. The estates are positioned in prime areas of Tuscany and each tells its own story, made up of nature, terroir and people. From Tenuta Castiglioni, where the family’s 700 years of wine-growing history began, to Castel Giocondo on the Montalcino hills, to the timeless Castello Nipozzano till the hidden gem of Castello Pomino,.
