This mini guide presents the collections of the Musée de l‘Orangerie, which depict singular facets of 20th-century art: the grand décor of Claude Monet’s Water Lilies, his ultimate masterpiece and a founding work of abstraction and immersive art, and the collection of paintings of Paul Guillaume and Domenica Walter, characterized by the tension between modernity and figuration, from Renoir to Matisse, from Cézanne to Picasso, from the Douanier Rousseau to Modigliani or Soutine.
