“(源自 3 块不同地块,总面积 1.85 公顷)。闻香更为内敛,含蓄地释放出成熟度稍高的李子、黑醋栗、玫瑰花瓣香气,以及浓郁的野性气息。酒体饱满,中段口感浓郁,风味多汁且富含矿物感,单宁紧致有力,余韵严谨克制、结构坚实,兼具强劲的肌肉感。这款酒专为陈年而生,显然需要至少十年的窖藏时间,才能达到适饮状态。适饮期:2038 年以后。(2022 年 1 月)”

Chambertin Grand Cru, whose first plot was purchased by the estate in 1919, continues to refine and elevate its quality over time. Pinot Noir thrives in this clay-limestone and marl terroir, endowing the wine with a rare, almost "royal" balance. This Chambertin is complex, robust, fleshy, and opulent, boasting exceptional aromatic depth and a fine tannic structure.

99 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The 2020 Chambertin from Trapet is sublime. It owns 1.85ha over three parcels in a variety of soils and 15% of the vines are trained high on stakes ('en echalas'). This diversity gives a complex fruit expression, from plum and black cherry to pomegranate and red currant, shot through with floral notes, spice and mineral. However, it is also a wine of power and depth, with the tannin and extract to live 80 years or more. One certainty: Trapet has mastered the art of Chambertin. Drinking Window: 2022-2035. (May 2022)"

95-99 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "100% whole bunch vinification, picked around 15th September. Very dense crimson purple with a darker centre. No reduction, this is entirely pure. The bouquet shows the typical ripe fruit on the nose, but not much detail. Super sensual, with a slow moving wave of ultra dense fruit. With the Chambertin we come back to a classical red fruit despite the ripeness. The density is striking. A little crunchiness to the firm tannins. We need to wait and see after racking if this potentially brilliant 2020 Chambertin can confirm a place in the Five Star category. (Nov 2021)"

98 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Trapet family’s 2020 Chambertin is a great young wine. The bouquet delivers beautiful precision and purity in its constellation of black cherries, sweet dark berries, cassis, black minerality, cigar wrapper, grilled meats, just a touch of mustard seed, cedar and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and utterly complete, with a rock solid core, superb soil signature, ripe, firm tannins and a long, vibrant and complex finish. Great juice in the making, but this will need plenty of cellaring time to unfurl. 2037-2100. (Nov/Dec 2021)"

98 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Aromatic kaleidoscope in the notes of blueberries, cashew, fine leather, cocoa and bark of the Chambertin, a wine of great scope and voluptuousness. Remains energetic, it portends a glorious maturity, with a fiery character and a very persistent finish with flavors of liquorice stick. (2023)"

97 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Chambertin Grand Cru is clean and precise on the nose, with raspberry and wild strawberry, crushed stone and discreet sous-bois scents. This, again, unfolds wonderfully in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle but insistent grip. It is more saline than Launay Horiot's Chambertin, with fine structure and a hint of spice towards the finish that has just a touch of piquancy. Bravo - this is a Chambertin from the top drawer. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. Drink: 2027-2058. (Oct 2024)"

94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from 3 different parcels that total 1.85 ha). An even more restrained nose timidly expresses slightly riper aromas of plum, dark currant, rose petal and plenty of sauvage character. There is both excellent volume and mid-palate density to the bigger-bodied to the sappy and intensely mineral-driven flavors that are blessed with a taut muscularity on the moderately austere, serious and very firmly structured finale. This is expressly built-to-age and a wine that is definitely going to need at least a decade before it could be reasonably approached. Drink: 2038+. (Jan 2022)"
