A proponent of working with indigenous artisans who practice ancient Mexican crafts and are based in natural materials with a contemporary luxury perspective, he creates environmentally sustainable interior and exterior spaces and furnishings. This luxurious volume features sixteen new private residences in Mexico and California that demonstrate his extraordinary way of designing for an inside/outside lifestyle without boundaries. Notable projects include sun-drenched beach villas throughout Los Angeles and Mexico that incorporate artisanal practices such as mosaics and hammered copper patterning, contributing to local communities. At the inception of a project, Farca and his team carry out a detailed bioclimatic study of the site, recording wind, light, and temperature conditions on an hourly and daily basis.
