盖思顿家族

Growing grapes in “stone lakes” in the center of Oyón (Alava) since 1850, the Gastón family has been involved in wine for 140 years. In 1980, Luis Zuazo, father of the current winemaker, founded a winery that produces Rioja wines of proven quality: Maese Joan. In 2001, Prudencio Zuazo Gastón, once he finished his studies in oenology, created his own winery: Zuazo Gaston Bodegas y Viñedos.

Now, the wines of the Zuazo Gastón family have already been winners of numerous awards in prestigious national and International Wine Fairs and Competitions. In the same way, they have the recognition of gastronomic critics and specialized guides. Tapas Gaston Verdejo won a gold medal at the 2019 Gilbert & Gaillard.
