Soalheiro Winery is located in Melgaço, on the banks of the Minho River. Soalheiro means "Sunny place, where the sun shines" in Portuguese.

When it comes to Vinho Verde, you can't help but know this winery, because Soalheiro is synonymous with the Vinho Verde region.

João António Cerdeira 于 1974 年在绿酒种植了第一棵Alvarinho 并创建了稍朗酒庄，并于 1982 年在稍朗酒庄发布了第一个年份的 Alvarinho。稍朗酒庄是家族经营，已经传给了第三代。

João António Cerdeira planted the first Alvarinho in 1974 and created Soalheiro, and released the first vintage of Alvarinho in 1982. The winery is family-run and has been passed down to the third generation.

Soalheiro currently has 10 hectares of white grapes, of which 1.5 hectares of vineyards are also called "Soalheiro", the same name as the winery. The average age of the vines is close to 40 years old, and they are currently cultivated organically. The company had previously obtained the environmental certification for all its activity and since 2006 it has had the organic certification of all the vineyards on the estate.

2019 年，稍朗被《Wine & Spirits》杂志评选为全球100 家T.O.P.酒庄之一。

2022年世界醉佳葡萄园（World's Best Vineyards 2022）T.O.P. 50榜单第16位。

In 2019, Soalheiro was selected as one of the T.O.P100 wineries in the

world by Wine & Spirits magazine.
