钱德勒·华娜（1890年4月16日——1979年8月30日）：美国作家，曾做过小学教师，在一生中创作了很多儿童文学作品，以《棚车少年》系列闻名于世，目前《棚车少年》系列已经有200多个品种，畅销世界各个国家，为了纪念她在儿童文学领域做出的成就，在华娜去世后，美国政府为她在家乡修葺了纪念馆，并专门做成了棚车的形状。

Gertrude Chandler Warnerwas born in Putnam, Connecticut, on April 16, 1890, to Edgar and Jane Warner. Her family included a sister, Frances, and a brother, John. From the age of five, she dreamed of becoming an author. She wrote stories for her Grandfather Carpenter, and each Christmas she gave him one of these stories as a gift. Today, Ms. Warner is best remembered as the author of The Boxcar Children Mysteries.
