酿酒师评语：酿酒果实来自我们最为独特的葡萄园地块，种植在特定方位的克隆品种 Gingin 与土壤相互作用，对葡萄品种和野生酵母产生了极为特殊的影响。春季天气凉爽，采收时间与采收较晚的 2021年相近。幸运的是，一月气候温暖，葡萄成熟加速，糖分积累和风味成熟度理想。葡萄果实的天然酸度较高，自然的苹果酸-乳酸发酵（MLF) 得以完成。细腻浓郁的风味最终收敛平衡，美妙无比。手工采摘并整串压榨后，将未澄清的果汁直接转移到橡木桶中。只选用来自葡萄园的天然酵母进行发酵，发酵后置于酒窖中熟成 15个月，其中先在橡木桶中陈酿8个月（间或搅拌酒糟），而后转入罐中，让酒液留在酒糟上陈酿 7个月。酿酒果实100%为克隆品种Gingin，忠实再现海特斯布瑞系列的香气和结构。这是一款风格雅致、结构美妙、口感复杂的葡萄酒，产自一个收获延迟却温度适中的年份。

品酒笔记：外观呈浅稻草色，略带绿金色调。香气浓郁的燧石味、鞭炮燃放后的硝石味及高良姜味，包裹着苹果蛋糕、鲜桃、谷物麦片和烤酸橙皮的香气，令人陶醉。风味复杂深邃，透出葡萄柚、香草、芫荽籽和佛手柑的微妙香气。随着瓶陈时间的延长，酒液会释放出更多风味元素。口感口感纯正、强劲有力、芳香四溢，风味协调，余味持久。果香浓郁，绸缎质地，给口腔带来温暖丝滑触感。风味绵长持久，带有松木/高良姜、梨、苹果和酸橙凝乳的气息。余味清爽，细腻优雅，干而不涩。

WINEMAKER COMMENTS Our most unique small vineyard sections where the Gingin  clone on specific aspect and soil interplay in such a way to  ignite very special varietal and wild yeast influence. A similar  harvest time to the reasonably late 2021 vintage due to cool  spring conditions, fortuitously a warm January saw ripening  accelerate with ideal sugar and flavour ripeness. With high  natural acidity, natural MLF was allowed to complete. Delicate,  tightly held flavours has resulted in beautiful restraint and  balance. Hand-harvested, whole-bunches were pressed and  transferred direct to barrel as unclarified juice. Only natural  yeasts from the vineyard fermented the wine which was  nurtured in our cellar for 15 months, 8 of which were in oak with  some lees stirring, before 7 months in tank on full lees. 100%  Gingin clone and true to Heytesbury perfume and structure. A  savoury, delicate and beautifully structured, complex wine in a  delayed, yet moderately warm harvest year.

NOSEHedonistic high notes of stone flint, firecracker and galangalencompass notes of apple cake, peach, granola, and flamedlime peel. Deeply complex with subtle hints of grapefruit,vanilla, coriander seed and bergamot. More savoury elementswill unveil with time in the bottle.
PALATEA super long, seamless palate, running pure,intense andfragrant. The incredible satin texture displays a waxy warm coreof fruit. The flavours draw long with pine/galangal, pear, appleand lime curd. A classically fresh finish with beautiful, fine-boned dryness.

葡萄园： 2020年的秋冬两季，一代人中最严重的干旱被大量降雨打破，我们迎来了2021年份卓越的生长季节。随后的凉爽夏季为我们带来了均匀且无压力的成熟期，而在澳大利亚日（Australia Day）前后的热度正好在成熟最后阶段完美地出现。由于早期萌芽和晚于正常的收获，果实的挂枝时间比正常长，这意味着所有果实都有美妙的风味，并且由高自然酸度平衡。

酿酒师笔记： 在2月中旬的第二周，我们手工采摘并在葡萄园内进行筛选，所有的地块都保持分开，并在开口的发酵罐中发酵。然后，这些单独的葡萄酒在主要是较新的法国橡木桶（2700升）中陈酿，直到2021年11月组装成Vat 9混酿。混酿后再陈酿五个月，然后装瓶。

James Suckling jamessuckling.com October 2022 “A juicy and fruity Shiraz with plums, ripe strawberries and undertones of sliced red meat, terracotta and orange peel. Medium to full body, creamy  tannins and a savory finish. Lovely intensity of fruit and focus that is astounding.”

Vineyard：The autumn and winter months of 2020 saw the worst drought in a generation be broken with substantial rainfall, we led into  an outstanding growing season for the 2021 vintage. A cool summer then gave us even, stress-free ripening with some heat  around Australia Day that was perfectly timed at the final stages of ripening. With an early budburst and later than normal  harvesting, the fruit had a longer than normal hang time, which meant that all of the fruit had wonderful flavours balanced  by a high natural acidity.

Winemaker’s Notes：Handpicked and sorted in the vineyard in the second week of February, the blocks were all kept separate and fermented in  the open top vats. The individual wines were then matured in mostly newer French oak casks (2700L) until the Vat 9 blend  was assembled in November 2021. The blend was then matured for a further five months before bottling.

Characteristics: Vibrant purple in colour, a regal nose showing lifted spice, dark fruits and subtle hint of oak. The palate is medium-bodied  showing great intensity and the velvety texture that is seen in the best wines from this vintage. The palate structure is  effortless with no rough edges showing wonderful balance of fruit, acid, oak and tannin.
