Vineyard

The vineyard of the Graves is located in the south of Bordeaux. Much comparable to the area of Médoc, the soils are composed of clay, limestone, but also sand and gravels.

The very gravelly soils gave the name to the appellation “Graves”. These famous pebbles are important as they take the heat of the sun during the day and reflect some heat to the grapes at night. The phenomenon is excellent for a smooth grape maturation.

The soil diversity brings a complexity which is giving LES ROCAILLES its peculiarity. Special care is given from harvest throughout the winemaking process to give the best quality wine on such a beautiful terroir.

格拉芙庄园位于波尔多产区南部，产区大多数土壤结构并不像梅多克地区那样是沙子和砾石。这里多是黏土和石灰岩的混合土壤。“格拉芙”的原意是砾石，石块白天吸收太阳光照，夜晚将热量散发给葡萄，使得果实更加成熟甘美。

Tastingcomments

 Wines from the Graves area are truly aromatic. LES ROCAILLES is particularly fruity, with enticing red fruit aromas like raspberry, red current, hints of wood from the oak ageing and subtle spices. The bouquet is rich and seducing, the soft tannins and freshness sensation is lingering in mouth.

The recommended food pairing can vary from roasted poultry to duck in sauce, and even fine cheeses.
