《快乐中文》是中国教育部中外语言交流合作中心全新规划的一套重点中文教材，是人民教育出版社《快乐汉语》系列教材的升级版，使用对象是海外11—16岁初中学生。由北京大学李晓琪教授主编。 

全套教材遵循《国际中文教育中文水平等级标准》编写，共三级9册，每个级别包括学生用书、教师用书、练习册，同时配有形态多样、易用实用的数字资源（包括音频、视频、动画、PPT课件、电子书等）。

全套教材学习完毕后，学习者可以达到初等二级水平。

Happy Chinese is part of the latest major project sponsored by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation under the Ministry of Education of China. It is a set of Chinese teaching materials specially compiled for overseas junior middle school students aged 11 to 16,with Li Xiaoqi as editor-in-chief. Following Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education, Happy Chinese consists of three levels and nine books. Every level includes a student’s book, a teacher’s book, and a workbook, accompanied by a variety of easy-to-use digital resources such as audio, video, animations, presentation slides, e-books, etc. After completing the entire set of books, learners can reach the proficiency of Elementary Level 2.
