宋长青,北京师范大学地理科学学部教授。任北京师范大学地理科学学部部长,中国地理学会副理事长,中国地理学会学术工作委员会主任、政治地理与地缘关系专业委员会主任,任孢粉学会、青藏高原研究会、土壤学会常务理事;任《地理学报》、《干旱区地理》、Chinese Geographical Science副主编,曾任国家自然科学基金委员会地球科学部副主任、中国科学与技术协会委员等职务。
