《卡门》是世界上上演率最高的歌剧，不仅因为其剧情精彩，更有许多经典的音乐，其中最为我们熟知的便是《斗牛士之歌》。歌剧是一个丰富的艺术宝库。通过歌声，音乐和舞美综合形式来表达人类的情感，如仇恨，嫉妒，爱情，激情……而《卡门》，同样，为我们讲述了一个敢爱敢恨的美丽吉普赛女子卡门的爱恨情仇。

10月27日，Temple东景缘将携手北京塞万提斯学院为大家带来这部著名的四幕歌剧《卡门》，让大家重温经典，让激情再次在心中澎湃。这部歌剧在马德里皇家歌剧院首演后，是首次也是唯一一次将在中国大屏幕进行转播，让中国观众有机会身临其境般体验西班牙歌剧的魅力。

《卡门》的转播是《皇家歌剧院的西班牙艺术家》活动的一部分，该活动将一系列来自西班牙著名导演、作曲家、舞者和歌者的作品带到中国，使这些动人的作品除在西班牙马德里皇家歌剧院之外，为更多的中国观众所熟知。

The retransmission of Carmen is part of “Artistas españoles en el Teatro Real”, a selection of the best of European culture produced by famous Spanish directors, composers and dancers and staged at Teatro Real in Madrid.

北京塞万提斯学院携手马德里皇家歌剧院，在北京放映一系列阵容强大的西班牙歌剧，旨在让中国观众了解优秀的西班牙表演艺术。其中两部著名歌剧《蝴蝶夫人》和《卡门》选址在Temple东景缘进行转播。而《卡门》将为本次活动画上圆满的句号。

In collaboration with Instituto Cervantes, Teatro Real has launched in Beijing a cycle of projections with the aim of promoting the excellence of Spanish performing arts in China. Emblematic operas such as Madama Butterfly and Carmen, which will close the cycle, are retransmitted at Temple东景缘 in July and October respectively. Being the original retransmission straight from the Premier at Teatro Real, this projection represents a unique opportunity to experience this wonderful opera as genuinely as it can get in China.  

《卡门》

《卡门》是比才一生中最后一部作品，也是当今世界上演率最高的一部歌剧。比才用音乐为大家讲述了一个欢快背景下的悲剧故事，描绘着吉普赛女郎卡门快乐、坦率、又充满野性的复杂性格，向人们展示着赤裸裸的激情，展示着男人和女人间永恒的对立，展示着生活的残酷和美好，展示着爱情和死亡的永恒追随。形象鲜明的人物、澎湃炽烈的情感，对人性真切深刻的描摹，使得《卡门》具有强烈的“真实主义”风格。它不仅在歌剧的发展历程中占有重要地位，至今它仍然是上演频度最高，最受观众喜爱的经典歌剧之一，影响力也早以超越了歌剧的范畴，全方位地辐射到近现代艺术发展的各个层面中。歌剧《卡门》不只是一部音乐杰作，也是一座显著的人类文化地标。

故事发生在1860年的西班牙塞维利亚。一个美丽而倔强的吉卜赛姑娘——烟厂女工卡门在一次和其他女工的斗殴中遭遇了骑兵队班长堂·何塞。本欲逮捕卡门的堂·何塞被她野性的美貌和桀骜不驯的气质所吸引，不但放走了卡门，还与她坠入情网。在卡门的诱惑下，堂·何塞加入了卡门所在的吉普赛走私贩行列，与卡门一起过上了漂泊的生活。但好景不长，卡门后来又爱上了意气风发斗牛士埃斯卡米罗，堂·何塞苦苦哀求她回心转意，但被卡门拒绝了。堂·何塞试图阻挡卡门去找她的新欢。卡门忍无可忍，将原来堂·何塞送给她的戒指从手上摘下，狠狠地丢在地上。堂·何塞用藏在身上的短剑刺死了卡门，而后坦白了自己的罪行。

Carmen

Carmen shows how the power and strength of traditional flamenco can perfectly embody the intense emotions. Carmen is a multi-faceted character and feminine, passionate, fighter and free, fickle in love and who flirts shamelessly with men, inspiring desire, rivalry and jealousy both among themselves and among women.

The indomitable character of Carmen will be his downfall when choosing the bullfighter and rejecting the love of Don José the despair of this leads to a tragic end.

Further information

Since its premiere in Paris in 1875, Carmen, by Georges Bizet, is one of the most represented operas in history, has become a myth and has served as inspiration for great artists of other disciplines: painting, dance, cinema... The Teatro Real recovers it this time with musical direction of Marc Piolllet and scenic of Calixto Bieito.

Carmen is a story of violence and marginalization, of sensuality in which the true protagonist is gender violence. The action takes part in the Seville of the Seventies, with a minimalist decoration that undresses the more marginal side of the city. The story could be summarized in a militarized and constantly changing world. Little has therefore to do with the conventional staging of Andalusian and flamenco character.
