"中小学汉语考试（YCT）读物由中国孔子学院总部/中国国家汉办认证，该套系列读物由四个级别组成：

YCT读物用有趣的方式及精美的插图介绍600个汉字。完成YCT四个级别的训练课程后，学生能够使用汉语在日常生活、学习和工作中进行基本的沟通。在中国旅行时，他们也能够运用汉语进行一般交流。 

YCT读物配有生词卡、教师手册及网上教室帮助课堂教学。学生可通过网上教室的练习和游戏在家里训练汉语、巩固所学知识。

"The YCT Readers are endorsed by the Confucius Institute of China and consists of four levels: YCT 1 (15 titles), YCT 2 (15 titles), YCT 3 (25 titles) and YCT 4 (25 titles). YCT Readers are written in a fun way with beautiful illustrations targeting up to 600 Chinese characters. By completing all 4 levels of the YCT program, students will be able to communicate in Chinese at a basic level in their daily, academic and professional lives. When travelling in China, they can manage most forms of communication in Chinese. 

YCT Readers are accompanied by flashcards, teacher packs and an online classroom to facilitate classroom teaching. Students can practice their Chinese and reinforce what they have learned at home through exercises and games available on the online classroom. 15 titles in YCT1：
