The Henao Quartet, consisting of William Chiquito (Colombia) and Soyeon Kim (Korea) on the violin, Stefano Trevisan (Italia) on the viola, and Giacomo Menna (Italia) on the cello, was born in Rome in 2014 from within the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. The Henao Quartet, perfected since its founding by Gunter Pichler (Alban Berg Quartet) of the Accademia Chigiana di Siena and, from 2018, the Escuela Superior Reina Sofia di Madrid, has performed in some of the most interesting Italian festivals and chamber seasons: in 2016, it debuted in the chamber season of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, performing Quartet K 387 by W.A. Mozart and Quartet No. 8 op. 110 by Shostakovich, in 2017, at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and in 2018, invited once more to Siena, then debuted at the Accademia Filarmonica Romana performing the Debussy and Ravel quartets.

This season, the Henao Quartet will debut with a live broadcast concert from “The Quirinale concerts” for Radio3, performing Shostakovich No. 8 op. 110 and Beethoven op. 95 “Serioso”. The quartet’s vast repertoire ranges from classic and romantic to contemporary, with special emphasis on the rare Italian quartetistic repertoire of the twentieth century. The multicultural nature of its members enables a perfect union of intent that permeates their every performance.

He is a "son of El Sistema", the project strongly supported by Claudio Abbado which brought many youths to the classical music and raised some of the finest musicians of our time - among them also Gustavo Dudamel - bringing them from the "favelas" (most poor district in South America) to a real decent and dignitous life.

She was brought to Europe as an enfant prodige by Felix Ayo in her teens, she studied around Europe and performed with many acclaimed musicians.

He is "the professor" as he's teaching in several Music Conservatories in Italy and won many auditions in the most prestigious orchestras in Italy. He is co-leader of the Viola section of the Accademia Santa Cecilia.
