常俊跃，大连外国语大学教授，博士，国家“万人计划”领军人才（教学名师），辽宁省高等学校“攀登学者”，大连市领军人才，“免鉴定”完成3项国社科课题（其中一项为重点项目）及其他项目20项，在研教育部首批新文科创新研究项目1项，出版学术专著5部，发表论文121篇，开发教材百余部。兼任教育部外指委英分委委员，英汉语比较研究会英语教学研究分会副会长。
黄洁芳，博士，大连外国语大学英语学院副教授。研究方向为应用语言学和英语教育。教授综合英语、欧洲文化入门、英语笔译等多门课程。发表论文十余篇，出版专著1部，教材及译著二十余部。曾获辽宁省优秀教学成果奖、辽宁文学翻译奖等多个奖项。
赵永青，英语语言文学博士，教授，硕士生导师，大连外国语大学学报《外语与外语教学》主编。研究方向为应用语言学、话语分析。获辽宁省高等教育优秀教学成果一、二等奖，省级精品课“英语基础写作”的负责人。被授予省、市优秀教师称号。发表CSSCI来源期刊论文三十余篇，出版专著《基于语料库的英语多人冲突性话语研究》等，主编教材十余部，其中多部为国家“十一五”“十二五”规划教材。

《古希腊罗马神话（第2版）》是在内容语言融合教育理念的指导下，依托国家社会科学基金项目“内容教学法理论指导下英语专业整体课程体系的改革与实践研究”推出的内容依托式系列英语教材之一。本教材具备以下主要特色：
1. 打破了传统的教材建设理念：教材围绕古希腊罗马神话的主题组织素材，让学习者在轻松愉悦的氛围中通过积极参与课堂教学活动达到学习使用语言的目的。
2. 涵盖了古典神话的主要内容：本教材设定了十五个单元，关注学习古希腊罗马神话的意义、主要神话人物故事及其文化象征意义等生动丰富的内容。
3. 突出了学生的主体地位：本教材设计了新颖的活动板块，突出了以学生为中心的思想，而且也方便教师借助教材开展生动有趣的教学活动。
