黑皮诺 （Pinot Noir ）原产法国勃艮第（Burgundy)，是非常古老的葡萄品种，它比赤霞珠要早出现1000年，在古罗马时代就被人们发现了，是世界上最古老的葡萄品种之一，由教会中专司酿酒的传教士负责种植，因此也被称作“被上帝选中的葡萄酒”。

Pinot Noir, originally from Burgundy, France, is a very ancient grape variety that predates Cabernet Sauvignon by 1000 years. It was discovered during the Roman era and is one of the world's oldest grape varieties. It was cultivated by missionaries who specialized in winemaking in the church, so it was called "the wine chosen by God".

同时黑皮诺也是葡萄品种中被公认为最挑剔、最难照料的品种，它对成长环境的要求较高，所以在葡萄酒圈，有这么一句俗语：上帝种植赤霞珠，魔鬼种植黑皮诺。

而作为黑皮诺最为著名的勃艮第产区，二者之间可谓相互成就，“勃艮第不能没有黑皮诺，就像西方不能没有耶路撒冷！”足以可见黑皮诺对于勃艮第的重要性。

At the same time, Pinot Noir is widely recognized as the most demanding and difficult grape variety to cultivate for among all grape varieties. It has high requirements for its growth environment, leading to a popular saying in the wine community: "God plants Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Devil grows Pinot Noir".

As the most famous Burgundy wine region for Pinot Noir, they complement each other perfectly. "Burgundy cannot be without Pinot Noir, just as the West cannot be without Jerusalem!" This expression highlights the importance of Pinot Noir to Burgundy.

作为勃艮第最重要法定的品种之一，她的成功离不开勃艮第的复杂风土支持。2015年7月4日，联合国教科文组织UNESCO世界遗产委员会将法国勃艮第葡萄园风土（The Climats, terroirs of Burgundy）正式列入世界遗产名录。

风土Climat，是勃艮第独有的概念，是指具有独特地理气候特征并经过明确界定的地块。它的起源要追溯到11世纪的勃艮第，那时熙笃会(Cîteaux)的修道士们靠着舌头品尝分辨土壤的不同，以此划分葡萄园边界，并将土壤分出三六九等。

这次我们精选了20款来自勃艮第的黑皮诺，其中9款Côte de Nuits、8款Côte de Beaune。还有一款Côte Chalonnaise的Givry村一级园，以及两家大名庄的大区酒。从Côte de Nuits最北边的Marsannay到Côte de Beaune最南部的Maranges，还有Meursault村极为少见的红。一起感受勃艮第带来的风土震撼！

As one of the most important designated grape varieties in Burgundy, its success is inseparable from the complex terroir support of Burgundy. On July 4, 2015, UNESCO's World Heritage Committee officially listed "The Climats, terroirs of Burgundy" in the World Heritage List.

Climat, a unique concept in Burgundy, refers to specific plots of land with distinct geographical and climatic characteristics that are clearly defined and identified. Its origin dates back to the 11th century in Burgundy, when Cistercian monks from Cîteaux Abbey relied on their sense of taste to discern the differences in soils. They used this knowledge to divide the boundaries of vineyards and classify the soils into various levels.

In this tasting, we have chosen 20 Pinot Noir wines from Burgundy, including 9 from Côte de Nuits and 8 from Côte de Beaune. There is also a premier cru from the Givry village in Côte Chalonnaise, as well as two renowned wines of Bourgogne AOC. This range spans from Marsannay, the northernmost part of Côte de Nuits, to Maranges, the southernmost part of Côte de Beaune, with the rare presence of red wines from Meursault village. Let's experience the terroir marvels brought to us by Burgundy together!
